Giants Press Conference

Hi fans Hank Johnstone here reporting from the New York Giants press conference, where its been anouned that the injury that took running back Juan Jenkins out of last weeks win over the Chicago Bears could see the running back sidelined for up to 4 weeks. This is bad news as the next 4 games will determine if the Giants make it to the playoffs for only the 2nd time in their history.

Head Coach Richard Harvey says and I quote"It`s a pulled groin, difficult to say when he`ll be back,I guess if it comes down to the last game against the Eagles he could contribute. He wants to play against the Colts, maybe he can,I`m no doctor, some one else will get a chance to step up and contibute"

Well there you are fans does he play,or is it best to rest him for the playoffs if the Giants get there?,big big decisons for Coach Harvey to ponder.

This is Hank Johnstone for RDFL News from New York......and god I need a beer, thats the most sensible and profesional I`ve ever been.......f_ck me I`ll be up for an award soon, can`t see whats the fuss about, pulled groin my arse,Ive performed with pulled groins and no babe has ever been disappointed!..........................................................................what do you mean we`re still on air?..........Oh nuts!

Big thank you to MarkG for the brilliant Giants banner

Hi there fans Hank Johnstone here .

Im in Washington State today, just 10 miles south of Seatle.Im standing outside the beautiful house Justin Vance shares with a supermodel/actress.(lucky lucky bastard!)All during the off season the papers have been full of Justin Vance and his leg.For you people who have been on the moon ,or in Ipswich, for the past few week, let me fill you in on how things developed.

Justin arrived at training camp with a slight hobble(so my Seahawks informers have told me).He looked shaky in practice, void of his usuall poise and confidance, then the Seahawks released pictures of his "accident".They supposedly where of Justins leg after he`d been attacked by a shark off the Miami coast during a fishing trip.

Next came the news that Seattle where putting Justin Vance on the Trading Block. As of today there have been no other GM`s willing to take the bait...unlike Mr Shark!!.League GM`s have come out with various comments from the outspoken Jets GM,who rekons"Its all smoke and Mirrors",to "We know we`ll be facing Vance in week1" and Justin Vance has played in the preseason,so maybe it is all smoke and mirrors as GM Rob suggests.

I decided to go futher. From way way back I have a former girl friend Kay Scarpetta who works as a pathologist in the citys morgue. She`s quiet famous and has been featured in lots of books by Patricia Cornwall. We met in a night club, and to this day I can still see the look on Kays pretty face as she crawled across the floor to me on all fours just in her little red nightie and white stockings, anyways I digress.Kay,as a special favour to me,has had a look at the pictures and has told me that the injuries sustained on the leg in the picture are consistent with injuries from a "rogue lawn strimmer"...not sharks teeth!

So have we all been thrown a curve ball?I dont know, but what I do know is I`ll keep digging for the truth, you can trust me to do that viewers.By the way standing infront of this beautiful house I`ve got to say that Justin Vances front lawns are immaculate!

New Condiments needed on the Ends

Hi fans (there are a few i know) Hank Johnstone here again bringing you the best kept secret of the offseason Julius Peppers retirement.I just want to say what a great player "Peps" was,a true New York Giant spending all 12 years of his RDFL career in the big apple. He tried, boy he tried, but no rings and just 1 visit to the post season.

The stats dont do him justice...
played in 139 games, starting in all but 1 of them,85.5 sacks,366 tackles,216 hurries............in my eyes A Hall of Fame career.

Last season the wear and tear on his body caught up with him as 3 seperate mild injuries on his foot, elbow and ribcage kept in below the 100% your body needs to be to play in the RDFL

As this reporter gave you the scoop "Peps" was still trying to improve as a player by bringing in another Giants Legend LT,to improve his defensive play late in the season

So I raise a glass of my favourite whisky...... to Julius Peppers one of the greatest players to wear the New York Giants uniform

An emotional Hank Johnstone for RDFL News

Hello from the new GM of The New York Giants

Hi there, just thought Id tell you a bit about the new owner of the New York Giants.

Im 47,born in Leicester, moved to Carlisle in 2001.I`d just bought FOF and was contacted by Stuart via FOF forums to join this league just before draft day,but declined as it was just too soon as its a bit overwelming when you first get started.but now I`ve had a couple of months I feel ok to give it a go,havent played a MP on-line game before so looking foward to it.

Anyways I got into American Football when it started on Ch4 in the early 80`s.Watching a young kid stand in the pocket and despite being rushed at by these huge guys, throw the ball 50 odd yds to a speedy wide reciever,I fell in love with the game and Dan Marino,so I followed the Dolphins from then on.
Ive been to Orange Bowl and Jowe Robbie Stadium in the past ,but now just watch the games on Sky Sports.I used to go and watch Leicester Panthers play and played PBMGameplan when it first came out.I was in the first league(NFLA I think,as the LA Rams).Anyone playing that time please get in touch..thanks.

Anyways thats about me ,Im really looking foward to playing as the Giants and giving you vets a run for your money!!

Thank you and goodnight ...Andy[b:d0ed13c535][/b:d0ed13c535]
